She suggests looking at your draft in a different way, in a different location, or in a different medium. Read your work from the perspective of an unbiased reader. Read your work aloud. Outline what you've written in subpoints.

  • I always print out copies of my manuscript before moving forward to the next chapter or two. When I go back and read I have found that after I need to strengthen my sentences or delete a whole section; because they don't connect or don't make sense. Thanks for the tips. It does help.
