Having your book professionally edited is critical to publishing the best possible book. While editing can be a significant chunk of your publishing budget, there are ways to streamline these costs. Beta readers are individuals in your network that are willing to read your manuscript, usually at no cost, and provide honest feedback.

Once you receive this feedback and make any necessary changes, you should work with an experienced editor.
