&lt;p&gt;The Hollywood market has changed dramatically over the last few years and the demand for content is greater than ever before, opening up amazing new opportunities for self-published writers to get their work optioned for film or television. There are three key factors that are contributing to this increase in demand, as Author Learning Center President Keith Ogorek explains. First, the number of non-traditional outlets for content, such as streaming services, has greatly increased. Second, the type of formats through which digital content can be viewed continues to evolve, and soon original content will be available through channels like Facebook and Snapchat. Last, recent success stories of self-published authors having their work adapted into blockbuster, award-winning films has opened more doors for other self-published authors.&lt;/p&gt;
