If you have worked with a traditional publisher or have an agent, they may have relationships with agencies or studios in Hollywood. If you do not have that connection, the process becomes harder, says Miller. He suggests authors work on securing reviews, which are read by studios and agents hoping to find the next big story. If a positive review of your work makes it into a major publication like the <em>New York Times</em> or <em>USA Today</em>, that&rsquo;s all the better.
