He interviewed many of her friends and colleagues in the process including screen legend Debbie Reynolds. It took an entire year to secure that interview with Reynolds and during that time, Done established a good rapport with many of her assistants. When working on his next book, <em>The Ornament Box</em>, he wanted to include a foreword that was written by someone well-known. This important connection with Debbie Reynolds&#39; assistants led to securing that endorsement from her. Done has found that having a foreword or endorsement from such a big name can greatly help open doors when pitching your book, whether that&#39;s to book buyers, venues, or readers.
