The main character of her historical novels frequents British pubs, many of which still exist today after over a century. Wasserman&rsquo;s own launch was in a pub in Southern California. She worked with the pub to create specialty drinks inspired by her books and served a British dessert called trifle. The party, which was supposed to last two hours, went on for over five hours. Wasserman spoke about her work and signed book copies.
