&lt;p&gt;Publicist Darice Fisher has found in her own experience, that book audiences respond better to author-hosted podcasts than they do to author YouTube channels. She sees a greater increase in book sales when authors create and share content through a podcast. While video may be easier to execute technology-wise, it could be worth the effort to learn how to create and produce a podcast series, she says.&lt;/p&gt;
