&lt;p&gt;Lee Klancher, publisher at Octane Press, discusses using photos from the internet in your book. The key to this is remembering that the rights of a photo belong always to the photographer. It&amp;rsquo;s relatively easy to find (1) find the photographer and (2) pay for the rights to the photo. This doesn&amp;rsquo;t have to be an expensive endeavor, but is important in order to keep the author from copyright infringement.
