She developed her DEB Method for goal-setting in 2018 and used it to plan her path &ndash; she would write a book covering the method and help others figure out what they want and how to get it. Once Eckerling had the opportunity to meet with an agent and pitch her idea, she realized working with an agent and publisher could lead to farther distribution and more exposure, so she could help as many people as possible.
