<div class="asl-wikipage-summary">Author and screenwriter Michael Druxman was in his late 60s when he was considering the traditional publishing route for his book. But he didn&#39;t want to wait: typically it can take months to find an agent--even longer for them to shop a book and land a publisher via the traditional methods. He decided to self-publish based on the feedback and experience of writer friends and hasn&#39;t looked back. Now his books and one-person plays are on Kindle and in audiobook form. Druxman recommends self-publishing for authors who don&#39;t want to wait.</div>
