Her work caught the attention of well-known and highly respected literary agent Jodi Reamer with Writers House. Reamer&#39;s client list includes authors like Stephenie Meyer and John Green, so Martin knew how lucky she was to be added to that list. Reamer landed a two-book deal for Martin with Harper Collins, who published her critically acclaimed series <em>Edge of Extinction</em>. Harper Collins also published Martin&rsquo;s latest release, <em>Float</em>. The key advantage of working with an agent, she says, is having someone who is knowledgeable and experienced handling all contracts and negotiations. Working with a literary agent also allows Martin to focus more on the writing. And, as a busy mom this extra support is very helpful.
