Hi, I have been researching economic development statutes in Maine for six years and have unveiled a narrative that is hidden from the public. I have a time line and I have been writing a blog on the subject for years- Preserving The American Political Philosophy. I use my own blog as a resource but the writing in the book is much cleaner than the blog. I have about five chapters and I am putting it together as fast as I can because I am basically stealing time to write this book and trying to get it out during critical months before election. I am trying to figure out where one can publish what one has to get some feedback and how one finds other authors to add to one's author's circle.

Just writing my first inspirational/bio. This is a true story of all the medical challenges I have over come only by the Grace of God. Maybe a little support or comments on this type of book.

Just beginning to explore this community. I've written a childrens book and will soon be ready for publishing and marketing. There don't seem to be many comments from writers involved in childrens fiction. Anyone else working in this sphere who could pass on some tips?

Hi Annie, I am in the same boat as you and also have not seen much in the way of information on children's fiction. I am in the process of publishing with Author House and would like to add you to my Author's circle if you're happy with that? Regards, Cilaye. Email -

Hello Everyone. My name is Akpan J. Essien. I'm new to this community. The publication of my first book (a novel) was all done (typesetting, editing, printing, marketing and sales) by the publisher. This time, it is a scientific research work (music, speech and hearing). The mm is nearly done, but I need some tips on marketing. I would greatly appreciate any word on the matter. My email if required: Please use the code EFHS as title for message.

Spencer Garth - September 30, 2015 at 05:32PM ET

Greetings. I am Garth Spencer, a resident of Vancouver, Canada. There are several topics or stories on my mind which could make book-length projects, but perhaps the best initial project is about common social knowledge that seems to be unconscious, or even disappearing, in North America; information that visitors and immigrants might find essential. Much the same information could be vital to adults or children with social challenges. But I keep asking myself, what could we all stand to learn, or learn again?
Maxz MILNE - November 09, 2015 at 06:03AM ET

Garth Wishing you the very best in this project, what an excellent idea. Education is amiss in many locations on this subject.

First things that come to mind are: Touch, type and boundaries (handshake, hug, kiss(es)); Introductions (recognizing title, full name, who to whom); Habits and Ceremonies (leaving shoes at door, eating from common bowl, covering parts of body), etc. Yes, we all need to learn, be reminded of social etiquette and knowledge.
