This webinar session with freelance publicist and communications expert Lindsey Gobel will review what an author media kit is, the essential parts of one, and why having one will increase an author's chances for publicity. Lindsey will discuss the key parts of any media kit, going into the details of each element, and provide specific instructions for how to create them. She will then discuss the next steps after an author has created his or her media kit. Attendees will learn what makes up a media kit and how to create one, as well as helpful resources for making their media kit look professional and dynamic.

About the Presenter:
Lindsey Gobel is a freelance publicist and communications professional with over 15 years of experience. She creates and manages publicity campaigns for clients in multiple industries, as well as works on a consulting basis with various firms to assist with branding and marketing strategies, creative concepts and business plans. Gobel’s services have been contracted to ghostwrite books for two professional athletes, which have been published and are sold at national retail chains. She recently wrote a Tedx Talk that was performed in September of 2018.
