Low) started writing their middle-grade series <em>Sherlock Sam</em> together, they weren&#39;t planning to include a glossary of terms in the books. Their first editor with Epigram Books suggested they add a glossary because of the importance of education in Singapore, and to entice parents to purchase the books. Entertaining their target readers has been the biggest focus for the pair when writing their award-winning stories, but they are pleased if their readers do also learn something.
