Susan Titus Osborn, an author, editor, and owner of The Christian Communicator, has written 12 children’s books as well as a children’s book series. Her bestselling book, Children Around the World Celebrate Christmas!, sold almost 150,000 copies. That book is now out of print, but her series, Parables in Action, are still read by children today. Each book in the series is based on a different parable and revolves around four young main characters. Osborn’s goal was to make the books entertaining but educational. She wanted to teach the Bible in a fun way, because, she says, you have to entertain children before anything else.
