Choosing your point of view (POV) is an important aspect of any story. While it may not change the trajectory of your story as a whole, the lens through which you tell it makes a difference. Before you begin writing, ask yourself, "Who can best tell my main character's story?" Sometimes it's the main character him/herself. Other times, it's not. It's up to you to decide. In this webinar, author Donna Hatch discusses six techniques for using POV, including primary, secondary, and deep points of view. That way, you can figure out which one will work best for you and your story.
