<div class="asl-wikipage-summary">Author Leslie Ann Moore discusses the subtle differences in writing style between fantasy and science fiction genres. With softer science fiction, there can be more lush language, but the challenges in writing and editing science fiction are the same as other genres. The author needs to make sure that the language flows, that the author says what needs to be said in the least amount of words, and that the plot continues to move.</div>
