&lt;p&gt;Andrea Adams, producer of the documentary &lt;em&gt;My Amityville Horror&lt;/em&gt;, was initially hesitant to take on a documentary, but eventually agreed to the project due to the brand recognition that was attached to the story from previous films that had been released. In the documentary, oldest brother Daniel Lutz recounts his version of the infamous Amityville haunting that terrified his family in 1975. Andrea and her team premiered the film at a genre-based festival and saw success when they were able to sell the film for distribution in both the US and internationally.&lt;/p&gt;
