The majority of Bart Tesoriero's nonfiction Christian work is for a Catholic audience, so he refers primarily to the website for the Vatican to start his research for a book project. He also refers to the writings of the Doctors of the Church, along with other church-approved resources. The key in writing for the nonfiction Christian genre is finding good sources, as Tesoriero explains. Due to tight deadlines Tesoriero isn't able to spend much time on research so he tries to start broad and then fine tune as he works section by section. Finding reliable, accurate resources is critical in his work and no matter how many pairs of qualified eyes might review a project, mistakes may still be found prior to publishing.
