&lt;div class="asl-wikipage-summary"&gt;There are many benefits to writing with a co-author. But like any relationship, it can become strained under pressure. Doug Stone and Shelia Heen, co-authors of &amp;ldquo;Thanks for the Feedback,&amp;rdquo; discuss tips for a successful writing collaboration. During the writing and editing process, due to time constraints and the pressure for perfection, it&amp;#39;s easy to slip into the habit of only giving negative feedback. Make it a point to also acknowledge the good aspects of your partner&amp;#39;s writing. One of the benefits of having a partner in writing is that there&amp;#39;s someone going through the struggle of writing with you. Celebrate the moments of victory with each other, such as when you fix a problematic chapter or transition.&lt;/div&gt;
