Shore has had the opportunity to interact with other authors through her local chapter. The SCBWI is a professional organization for writers and illustrators of children&#39;s literature. She organized her own critique workshops for local chapter authors as an opportunity to get valuable feedback without having to travel long distances to the organization&#39;s conferences. It was at one of these workshops where Shore met Jessica Alexander. Sharing similar rhyming styles, she and Jessica agreed to collaborate on a book project that Shore didn&#39;t have time to write on her own. &nbsp;They have now co-authored three children&#39;s books together, including <em>This is the Dream</em> and <em>This is the Earth</em>.
