Singaporean poet and photographer Marc Nair has published five solo volumes of poetry and has released another four collections in collaboration with visual artists, including British artist Nicola Anthony. Marc and Nicola met at an event where they were both invited to showcase their talents. It was there that they discussed their mutual admiration for each other's work and a potential collaboration. The resulting book, Intersection, combines Marc's poetry with Nicola's artwork in an exploration of history, faith, and memory across three cities - Singapore, Yangon, and London. To complete the book, Marc first wrote the poems that addressed eight different themes and Nicola responded with visual art for each. He then reviewed her artwork submissions and adapted his poetry where needed to make the two elements as cohesive as possible.
