They are able to envision scenes and characters in their head that less imaginative children cannot. But with the rise of certain technologies, like video games, Rourke has noticed that less and less children have an active imagination. She says that playing video games doesn&rsquo;t require the same imagination that reading a book does. This imagination deficit affects more than just reading, too.
