<div class="asl-wikipage-summary">Marcia Turner, Founder of www.AssociationOfGhostwriters.Org explains the ins and outs of a ghostwriter contract. There are five key things to look for in ghostwriting contracts. First, does the ghostwriter get credit? Typically the ghostwriter does not get credit, as opposed to a freelance writer, who usually does. Second: what is the pay schedule? Ghostwriters prefer to be paid over several different milestones instead of only at the end of the project. Third: what is the timeline? The due date for the project should be clear. Fourth: who is liable for the content? Ghostwriters do not want to be held liable for the content, since the author provides most of the raw information. Fifth: who has the final say? The author normally has the final approval of a book&#39;s manuscript.</div>
