There appears to be two ways to go with the marketing; one was sells more books through social media, etc., and the other way is to show that the author is authentic. The less expensive is the one that sells the books. From what I have read there are ways to do some of the marketing yourself. I just started to think about the marketing process, but it will take me more time to figure it all out. They did say there is a payment plan. I initially thought a lot of this was included in the initial package I paid for. I have to discuss the marketing suggestions the marketing rep emailed me.
I'm afraid I'll be missing this one again because of a 3 days conference that I'll be attending. But I'm looking forward to hear the recorded version of the discussion of this session-as well as the notes that will be provided.
Im at that phase also but it seems a bit complicated if you dont have the funds to successfully market your book.
I have spoken to a Marketing person from the publishing company, and do not know what is all involved. It seems to be somewhat of a structured process.
