For his latest nonfiction book that he co-wrote with another author, Ogorek and his writing partner chose to use a bibliography to cite their sources. Their reasoning behind this is because the footnotes on individual pages feels more academic, and that is not the intention of their book. When creating a bibliography or footnotes, there are certain formats that must be followed, so it's important to accurately track your sources as you are writing, he says. This will save you a lot of time in the revision process.
