Turning Your Story Into a Movie or Play - podcast

How do you turn your idea into a movie? Whether you're starting from scratch, you've written something unpublished, or you have a published book, you can pursue your goal of turning your content into a movie—but the market is extremely tough. Movies are expensive to make, so the competition is fierce. Author of the Walking Dead novels, Jay Bonansinga, explains the difficult process of turning your book into a movie, and talks straight with you about the options you have.

  • Dear Jay, 3 of my books are in the Hollywood coverage. My stories are written in "movie" I know how good they are. How can I pitch them to the people that matter? Is there any way I can add you to my authors circle? Thank you, April O'Brien www.aprilsworld.com
  • Good information here. I have often thought about the continuation of my manuscript and it being turned into a children's movie. I have no idea what this will cost or if it will even be recognized. Getting one foot or both feet in the door is the most costly part...I imagine. If somebody RICH (LOL!) reads this send me an email! I'm full of ideas. I just don't know who or where to deposit them with. I'm not afraid of failing or falling. I just want a start! fluff006@comcast.net
