Artist and author Steve Alpert discusses the process of taking his book and making it into a play. Before his play, he had experience in a number of roles, including producing. He actually swore off doing another play before he was hit by inspiration that he couldn’t ignore. Much to Alpert’s surprise, the play was successful.
