A good novel leaves readers wanting more. Readers of author Rolonda Watts' debut novel Destiny Lingers want to know what happens next with the main characters. Watts herself wants to better understand the main characters' mothers and their back story. These are all questions that make a sequel very possible, Watts says. But first, she aspires to see her book adapted to film or television so a screenplay is in the works. She is also working on the audiobook for Destiny Lingers with the goal of developing a "creative empire" that she can pitch to a major publisher, producer, or agent.
