Getting Involved in the TV Industry - video

In this interview we meet Ethlie Ann Vare, an author, screenwriter, story editor, and creative consultant in Hollywood. She is best known for her work on the television shows CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda. Ethlie describes the various platforms in TV writing and offers some tips for getting started as a TV screenwriter. She also talks about how the barrier to entry is nearly gone for those interested in creating television programming and the opportunities and challenges that are in the industry.

  • Interesting points how ever I think that Ms Vare could have expanded a tiny bit more as she seemed to stick to just one Genre then we saw just a flash of a book she wrote which was aof a different Genre or did I miss the point completely?
