Choosing Reading Locations - video
Poet Jane Ormerod shares ideas of where you can host poetry readings. She also explains why one of her favorite reading places is a bar and why she loves the challenge it presents. When choosing reading locations for poetry, larger venues and art centers are potential spots, but smaller venues are often more ideal. Reading is a bar is challenging in a good way. It's your job to draw in the audience, even if it's only for three minutes. Cafes and coffee shops are also good venues to consider.
