Building Momentum for Your Book Prior to Publication

Annette Leach, Publisher of Uriel Press and Vice President of UMI Book Division, says that building momentum for your book is just as important as writing your book. Through a blog, website, social media, or other platform, you can begin to build your awareness and expertise about your book’s topic. Leach says the three most important steps you can take now are to build an author website, have at least one social media platform, and begin building a mailing list to share weekly updates.
