As writer and producer Craig Miller got closer to the release date of his memoir, Star Wars Memories: My Time In The (Death Star) Trenches, he planned to do more targeted marketing. This included podcasts and online fan groups specifically focused on the Star Wars franchise. Miller’s strategy was to reach out to all places he could possible reach out, such as media outlets like Entertainment Weekly, but also simply friends and acquaintances. While he doesn’t expect to get rich off the book, Miller says he hopes the memoir sells well, and in the end, he had a good time writing it.
