About the Book
Based on a true story, Ralphie finds new best friends in Homer and Peep, two adorable (gulp!) . . . birds! But how can that be? He's a dog, and everyone knows dogs aren't supposed to like birds! Why not? He asks his sister Charlotte. Because . . . well, they don't know why not. They're just not, that's all.
