Sue Arroyo on Working with an Indie Publisher like CamCat Publishing

Like many new authors, Sue Arroyo tried the traditional publishing route initially, but found it to be very challenging to get picked up by an agent or publisher. She then decided to pursue the self-publishing route and began to immerse herself in the world of independent publishing. This exposure led her to wanting to help other authors reach their publishing goals, which inspired her to start CamCat Publishing. CamCat is a small, independent house that specializes in publishing genre fiction. An agent isn't required to submit work to CamCat, but Arroyo and her staff tend to give priority to agented manuscripts.
