As founder of Apprentice University, Inc. and author of You're Always Being Interviewed, Ron Brumbarger saw an opportunity to combine his business and self-publishing experience. During the process of publishing his book, Brumbarger realized how difficult editing and formatting a book can be for most writers. These steps in the process are often a roadblock to getting a manuscript from 80% complete to 100% complete. He created the Author Assist program to offer services to writers that lack the skill set to complete the necessary steps, or that are too busy with other jobs and commitments to manage the process. A partnership with supported self-publishing provider Author Solutions has allowed Brumbarger's program to make the self-publishing process easier for authors.
