Book signings can often be an intimidating and often discouraging event. This webinar is about changing that. We’ll go through booking and scheduling your signing, preparing for the signing itself and what to do at a signing. I will share some of my personal experiences in going from initially not wanting to do signings to realizing its privilege and importance in my author experience.
About the Presenter: Douglas Gardham is the author of The Drive In (a collection of short stories), the STARBook award novel The Actor and the soon to be published, The Musician. Writing found him as a teenager and never let go. He spent most of his career in engineering and manufacturing but wrote everyday. When The Actor was published in 2013 he started writing full-time. He was recently featured in a front page article in Globe Arts of Canada’s Globe and Mail newspaper.
I'm very upset I missed this webinar. I was very much looking forward to it, but an emergency took precedence. How can I get a recorded version?
I learned a lot from the Webinar regarding preparation. Thank you so much. I was really inspired by your miraculous encounter and the question "why would you want your book in our store?" Even the random act of kindness at your book signing (the lady buying the reader's book for him) was touching and shows how opportunities are all around us!!!
This webinar will be starting at 1:30pm EDT (Eastern daylight savings time) today. Looking forward to having you join us!
thank you ! would you be kind enough to send the replay?
Are there videos made of these seminars? Since I work, I am not at home during the time of these "Live Webinars".
