Getting An Educational Book in a School Curriculum - podcast

If you are writing an educational book, it's possible to sell your book to schools if you know how. Author Deborah Winegarten has found success selling her book to schools, and in this interview she discusses how she does it. First, she focuses on what the schools need before she starts a new book. You can find school curriculums online, and then plan a book from there in the subject or topic in which you are interested. Search for books that already exist on the topic to make sure there's not too much competition already. To sell your book to schools, start locally and reach out to librarians, teachers, or other faculty that you know.
