Edie Glaser on How Her Own Vision Impairment Inspired Her to Write a Children’s Book
During her university writing program, writer and editor Edie Glaser kept hearing "write what you know" from her instructors. She had started understanding her own vision impairment - nystagmus - a little more, and decided she wanted to help children with vision impairments by writing a book. Glaser collaborated with a child psychologist on the content, and they kept the content simple and straight-forward. Her book, All Children Have Different Eyes , also includes exercises and activities.
