Ed Aymar on Writing Horror and Violence - video

Author Ed Aymar knew he wanted to explore violence when he started writing his first book in The Dead Trilogy. His goal was to expose how ugly horror and violence can be and to explore how they can change the characters that they impact. Aymar doesn't view horror and violence from a gruesome perspective. He feels his writing acts as a vehicle for illuminating his own experiences or ideas. He says the violent world in his books are nice to visit but he's glad it's not his reality.
