Hi Michael, The short answer to this is yes. In dialogue, when a new character speaks, it is traditionally a new paragraph. Other times that you might start a new paragraph include when you skip to a new place, new topic, new time, or when you want to produce a dramatic effect. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much Keith for sharing those five elements. I never knew that each element was so important. When I read great books I never thought about that when I was reading especially a great book.

Hello Keith Ogorek Thank for the though of the five elements of a good story. I see you are in marketing. That is the stage I am with my book and I am like a fish out of water. I cannot breathe I have no idea what to do in the book market.
