Georgia Lee on the Benefits and Initiatives of the Atlanta Writers Club - podcast

The Atlanta Writers Club has been around for over 100 years. While the club is 700 members strong, Community Outreach Vice President Georgia Lee says their main focus is to continue to create awareness. There are too many writers not taking advantage of the speaking events, workshops, festivals, and conferences that the club executes every year. It's free to attend the first club meeting and yearly membership is very affordable. Members have opportunities such as pitching their work to New York-based editors and agents at their bi-annual Atlanta Writers Conference.
