As social creatures, humans need people they can create with and grow with, and this extends to authors in the writing process, says literary agent Steve Hutson. A critique group is an author’s tribe, made up of writers with a similar mission who all want to help each other. The group can help you get your book manuscript in its best shape; however, a professional editor is still needed before publication. Your critique group may be filled with sharp, passionate writers, but an experienced editor will better know what is needed to take your book to the next level and ensure it is marketable.
The problem comes in when there is no money to spend, I agree with the video, however where do you find the extra money to have a professional do this and where do you find the professional?
How do i find a critique group? and professional editor?
