Life coach and author Shan Gill worked in the corporate world for twenty years before transitioning to full-time entrepreneur and writer. She draws the most influence for her writing from her time working for Disney in Hong Kong. Gill learned in her product and marketing roles with the creative giant that characters don't have to be human or even recognizable. Characters can be whatever your imagination creates. She also learned how impactful music can be as a form of storytelling and communicating. Gill's first book, Cosmic Kitty, includes song lyrics which she plans to put to music to complement the book. Her message to other new writers? Don't be afraid to visualize, explore, and think outside of the box when it comes to characters and other formats or media.
