Researching New Biographies - podcast

Google is a big help in conducting biography research but you may still need to dig for interesting details, according to David Margolick, author of "Elizabeth and Hazel: Two Women of Little Rock." That's because while memoirs and journals can be easily found online, stray letters may not be indexed well or they may be sitting in other collections. Librarians can be enormously helpful in gathering reserach for a biography, as can schools and alumni offices. Networking and personal connections can open source possibilities.
