Dr. Mark Eckel on His Strategy for Up Against the Lockers - video

As he continues to work on completing his forthcoming nonfiction book, Up Against the Lockers: Teaching-Learning as Christian Practice, author and educator Dr. Mark Eckel has been strategizing how to most effectively execute an essay-style book. Relying on his strengths as an essayist and educator,  Dr. Eckel plans to include his philosophies on how interconnected teaching and learning are along with practical applications of the methods he is covering. His goal is to train readers to think differently, which will require a format that is easy to digest. For any writer working to complete a book project, Dr. Eckel recommends keeping these three things in mind: 1) the pacing, 2) your strengths and weaknesses, and 3) what you want people to take away from the book.
