  •   Hi,  I  agree with what you have said.    It  is a very   Honourable     way to  die.   I like to approach  that.    I would  like to add  for  myself  what seems to drive  me     to write is to quiet   my mind.    I'd love  to listen to some of your poetry or read some  of it.   Thank  Your for me  right now cause sleep is elusive and  it is  late.  I'm not at my best point .    Someone criticizes  my poetry really bad  for  a long time.   To try to impress  them the most  I valued  there opinions in general writing also.  They say  they do not understand  so  I bring a lot of self loath and weight on each word  to  the  batting plate.   Weary also   for repetitive attempts.     I feel like cause I am on  the internet the whole world  sees  what  I write.   This is one of my old poems.

    free my soul
i care who it is the hardest part is to train
and follow rules without getting sick
free the words thats full of weight and thickness
that i utter in my head a campsite fires only wick
seize the darkness as i struggle with
    limited vocabulary and heaping coals
keeps my eyes lowered but hopefully its
a illusion of the grand scheme of break through
of delusions that keep me trying self prophecy
comes true and freedom justs a word
when i'm 60 i'll be in a better space with my salvation
and my voyage to the skies if i know better
it's just freeing my soul inside now
and travelling the road of betterhood of walking the narrow
line..   It is  under  my married name  ..   I am  both. Cindy
  • I understand  when u talk about the different emotions

  • I had a difficult soul journey. After that, I was thinking I write the poem but after a year I found that am poetry. And all those states of the soul are there for a great purpose. Those emotional moments making me living a poetry. And the poetry never going to have happened without Love. Thank you Kweisi your feelings are resonated with me.

  • I feel very much the same as you. I do not want to feel restricted with style. I it is such a beautiful thing, when one can express him/herself through poetry. When I write a poem, all of my emotion goes into that piece, i need that poem to have meaning. And sharing that with the world in my opinion, is priceless.
  • Thank you for a great listening tool!!
