Finding a Ghostwriter or Collaborator - video

When you are ready to partner with collaborator, editor, or ghostwriter to help you write a book, it helps to know where to find writers that share your passion. In this interview, literary agent Jill Marsal describes expert tips on how to find a ghostwriter or collaborator who's perfect for your project. She says that you can start by searching the internet, and then narrow down your list of possibilities. Contact several candidates and ask for lists of books they’ve worked on in the past to see if they’ve worked on anything like your book before. You can also ask local librarians and booksellers for recommendations. If you’re involved with a writer’s group, ask your group members for recommendations to learn about local freelancers who could potentially work with you on your project.
