Writing Screenplays for Virtual Reality Content - video

Virtual reality is said to be the next dimension in gaming. By simple wearing a set of VR goggles, enthusiasts can be immersed into whole new worlds in a three-dimensional environment. Author and screenwriter Derek Taylor Kent is a huge fan of virtual reality because of the possibilities this technology creates for the world of literature. While it has a clear application for movies and gaming today, Kent's excited about the new way of reading that he believes will be introduced through VR in the coming years. He also enjoys the challenge of creating narrative stories in a 360-degree environment. His first VR screenplay, Exit to Reality, won best screenplay at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and was nominated for several other awards.
