For author Bryan Beach, the editing process is the most important and the most enjoyable part of a writing project. He feels a great sense of accomplishment when that first draft is complete and recommends to other writers they put the initial draft away before going back for revisions and rewrites. Thank you so much for the advice, Bryan. I have implemented what you said about putting the manuscript down and taking another look at it. It worked wonders for me! I was so sure it was what I wanted until I read it back to myself and said, "Oh no, I don't want you to say that." I ended up changing the dialect in a few places and also a few scenes. I added a little more to them so the would be more descriptive. I thank you so much! This was a tremendous help to me.
